Coming from a family engaged in this field for generations he picked up the art of Pattachitra from his father and grandfather. Carrying their legacy forward, Mr Dilip has devoted his life to the pursuit of this craft making it his sole passion. His biggest inspiration remains the rich imagery of Indian mythologies which finds its reimagination in his artwork. Each of his artwork is created with scrupulous patience making them an exquisite masterpiece. Mr Dilip finds himself happiest when he is invited by schools to share his love for the craft and forge consciousness about a centuries old art form among the students.
